Centre Manager - Valemount Children's Activity Society (VCAS)

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will:
-Have office related experience.
-Have experience preparing agendas and taking minutes.
-Have experience in writing policies and reports.
-Be able to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
-Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Maintain confidentiality of all information related to children, parents, staff and the Board.
-Be able to provide a current and successful criminal record check, as required by Northern Health.
-Experience in writing grants would be an asset.
Candidates with only some of the above may be considered.
Job Duties: Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Centre Manager will:
-Be responsible for the administrative and office related tasks of VCAS.
-Prepare and maintain the VCAS Board agendas, minutes, policies and orientation binder.
-Oversee improvements to the VCAS facility.
-Assist the Board of Directors in the preparation of the strategic plan, annual report, parent handbook and other initiatives.
-Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and licensing.
