Guest Services Attendant
 
Hours: Full time, Seasonal.  Starting as soon as possible. 
 
Job Description: The Guest Service Attendant (GSA) is responsible for housekeeping and general kitchen prep in
the lodge.  This person will work individually and as part of a team, be highly organized, efficient and able to work in a fast paced environment.
The Guest Service Attendant's role is to work closely with the GSA team to complete a variety of cleaning tasks on a daily basis, and assist with the food service each day.
With a strong understanding of guest expectations balanced with teamwork and excellent time management skills, the Guest Service Attendant will be the "go to" lodge services expert in the lodge he or she is connected to.
All positions at CMH have a close interaction with our guests on a daily basis and must reflect the professional and hospitable nature of the company.

Areas of Responsibility: In-depth working relationship with the Guest Service team and on-going involvement with
the Area Management team and Lodge staff.
Guest Satisfaction: -Work together with the Lodge staff to develop an interactive environment for guests and staff.
-Make the effort to reach out to the guests to fulfill requests and exceed expectations.
Task Management: -Able to efficiently manage numerous cleaning responsibilities on a daily basis within the time constraints of the day.
-Demonstrate strong organizational skills on a day to day basis.
-Flexible to work split shifts.
-Willingness to assist in other roles in the lodge when needed.
-Daily cleaning tasks in work space.
-Radio Duty: is a scheduled task and required by all CMH Lodge staff.
-Participate in dinner service.
-Perform tasks in the kitchen related to dinner service and clean up.
Safety/Regulatory/Sustainability: -Understand and abide by the OH&S and WHIMIS standards
and guidelines.
-Demonstrate safe workplace practices.
-Follow CMH Second Nature best practices.
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: - High School Diploma
-BC Serving it Right
Experience: -Experience in the Customer Service Industry an asset.
-Previous work experience in hospitality cleaning (room attendant/laundry/house keeper) an asset.
-Previous delivery of hospitality to international guests is an asset.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: - Detail oriented with an ability to simultaneously work toward big picture goals and priorities.
-Excellent communication skills - able to receive and act on feedback in an effective manner.
 
Travel Requirements: This position is remote based and employees are required to find their own way to and from
the lodge or helicopter pick up.  If available CMH does have regularly scheduled guest transport that employees can prearrange with the CMH Transportation Department.  CMH transportation arrivals and departures are predetermined for location, dates and times.  CMH guests have priority for the capacity of the bus.
 
Working Conditions: This job may be in a remote area of the BC wilderness or in a Town-based Lodge.

Kitchen Assistant
 
Hours: Full time, Seasonal.  Starting November 20, 2015.
 
Job Description: The Kitchen Assistant (KA) is responsible for producing the daily lunch for the guest ski program.
The KA is a food oriented position and dedicated to helping address all the individual guests' needs, special requests as well as stocking/inventory of the lodge food program.
The KA's role is to work closely with the kitchen team and be involved in all food related tasks.  With time spent working alone or with a kitchen team member, the KA will strive to develop skills and knowledge in the kitchen setting.
With a strong understanding of guest expectations balanced with teamwork and excellent organizational skills, the KA will be a major part of the culinary team that is in place as the "go to" lunch expert in the lodge he or she is connected to.
All positions at CMH have a close interaction with our guests on a daily basis and must reflect the professional and hospitable nature of the company.
 
Areas of Responsibility: In-depth working relationship with the Chef & Pastry Chef and on-going involvement with
the Area Management team and CMH Area staff.
Food Preparation: -Prepare and package the guest ski lunch and staff lodge lunch.
-Participate in menu planning, ordering and receiving.
-Play a major role in providing kitchen support when guests return from the field.
Kitchen Responsibilities: -Be punctual and show attentiveness to kitchen timing.
-Demonstrate tidy grooming and professional appearance (i.e.: wearing clean whites in the kitchen).
-Display safe levels of kitchen skills (food handling, knife handling, meal plating).
-Understand and maintain accurate kitchen stocking and dry storage rotation.
Guest Satisfaction: -Reach out to the guests to fulfill requests and gather feedback on food related items.
-Work together with the kitchen team and other lodge staff to develop an interactive environment for guests and staff in the lodge.

Massage Therapist
 
Hours: Full time, Seasonal.  Starting November 21, 2015
 
Job Description: The Massage Therapist (MT) is responsible for providing massage services to the guests and
conduct a warmup/stretch class each morning.  The MT is also responsible for the daily upkeep of the spa area at the lodge including common areas and spa washrooms.  This person will work as part of a team and be highly organized, efficient and able to work in a fast paced environment.
The Massage Therapist's role is to manage the daily guest massage schedule and to work with the lodge staff to best anticipate the needs of the guests.  In addition to the mountain spa experience the MT will be delegated responsibilities relating to the daily upkeep of the lodge as well as contribute to the guest dinner experience.
With a strong understanding of guest expectations balanced with teamwork and excellent time management skills, the Massage Therapist will be the "go to" massage services expert in the lodge he or she is connected to.

-Monitoring par-stocks and ordering of all massage supplies.

Task Management: -Deliver a full 30 minute warmup/stretch class that involves a variety of valuable techniques and manoeuvers.
-Full ownership of the guest massage schedule; including the charge entry for all completed massages.
-Able to efficiently manage numerous tasks on a daily basis within the time constraints of the day.
-Flexible to work split shifts.
-Willingness to assist other members of the lodge team when needed.
-Radio Duty: is a scheduled task and required by all CMH Lodge staff.
-Daily cleaning and upkeep of the massage work space and surrounding areas.
