The Learning Centre has been working on projects around Food Security for years, with a focus on establishing ongoing, sustainable healthy food for our community. 

We recently started our Village Greens project, so we can provide fresh, leafy greens YEAR-ROUND to Valemount and our surrounding communities.

We are also the Coordinator for the Valemount Farmers' Market which brings local food vendors together every summer. We are members of the BC Association of Farmers' Markets, and also coordinate the annual BCAFM Nutrition Coupon Program.
