COURSE DESCRIPTION:
 

This course is designed to prepare Occupational First Aid Level 1 attendants with the skills and knowledge needed to move and transport injured or ill workers to medical aid.

Prerequisites:

Students must hold a valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate.

​

Content:

Patient handling and lifting techniques. 

Spine Board and Basket Immobilization Techniques.

Patient Assessment and Treatment during Transport.

Transportation Vehicles.

Aircraft Transportation.

Applicable First Aid Regulations.
